The Urban Partners developer has not formally registered the design into
Auckland Council yet. Once the design is registered, there will be  20 days following for public feedback, and the notified resource consent applications open for submission  are here:
https://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz:443/have-your-say/have-your-say-notified-resource-consent/notified-resource-consent-applications-open-submissions/Pages/default.aspx

The developer has bought out  the websites missionbay.co.nz and the facebook page for "Mission Bay, The Promenade". The developer has been masquerading as the front for these community business groups for several months now which is dishonest and misleading. They use the photos of the Mission Bay art deco buildings on their front pages too.

The real Mission Bay Kohimarama Residents' Association chairman Don Stock does not support the development and encourages objecting to the development. This excerpt is from their recent newsletter:

What can you do?
If you don't like the idea of an 8 story development here, then please make your views known.
Initially, you can email the Orakei Local Board to help them understand the depth of feeling on this. Their email address is RLBOLogin@aklc.govt.nz , and you can email them now to help them decide whether they will support or oppose this project.
You can also post messages on Neighbourly, Facebook and other social media immediately to try to ensure everyone is aware of what is planned.
Talk to your friends about this. Encourage them to join the Resident's Association if they want to keep up to date.
Once the resource consent application has been notified, then you can make a submission directly. We will advise how to do that at the appropriate time.

Thanks for reading!
