The Attorney General Responds Following Petition

The Attorney-General’s Chambers has since addressed the matter, in response to the petition, saying that there will be an appeal filed against the decision of the Court of Appeal. The appellant is given 14 days to file said appeal.

In the meantime, we strongly encourage everyone to sign this petition, as a gesture of solidarity for Adelina and her family, not forgetting the many other domestic workers who share the same fate. Your support resembles a sign of protest against a system which has unjustly penalized and denied domestic workers of their fundamental liberties.
