Here's an update on the Grady renaming.  At the last Atlanta School Board meeting, the Board decided to allow current students to vote on the new for Grady High School.  Vote results are in:  More than 60% of Grady High School students picked “Midtown High School” as their first choice to replace the school’s current name.

These results are consistent with previous feedback submitted via community survey and other student votes that also favored a place-based name, with Midtown High leading the way.  I hope the school board will accept this feedback and implement Midtown High as the new name.
