Stop AT&T's Aggressive and Deceptive Billing Practices
The Issue
AT&T routinely utilizes aggressive and deceptive billing practices to unfairly extract maximum dollars from its customers. Personally, I’ve had several negative experiences with AT&T. Most recently, I was overcharged on an international plan by several hundred dollars. The plan was to include an “alert” to let me know when I got close to my limits – that didn’t happen. The overage bill rate was outrageous. Furthermore, the plan was set to automatically end after my trip – it didn’t. I was unknowingly charged for the international plan for several months. Resolving this mess took several phone calls to AT&T where I was bounced between several departments. They do not make it easy for their customers in any way. I’m certain there are many other people like me that have had bad experiences. Please sign this petition if you’ve ever had problems with the following:
- Domestic / international calling or data plans
- Excessive overage charges
- No alerts to let you know that you are about to exceed your plan
- Recurring, unauthorized charges
- Making it difficult to remove unwanted plans
- Unwanted text or solicitations from AT&T
