This petition was not created for the sole purpose of canceling classes as many media outlets are stating. This petition was made to raise awareness and increase preventative measures and safety precautions for the ASU community members. That, however, can include canceling classes if needed or it can mean providing more sanitizing stations, but the conversation needs to start somewhere. Without us making our voices heard, ASU will continue to be ambiguous and fail to provide us with the transparency needed in order to make more informed decisions about our health.
