Hi everyone,

As you probably know, the ACM elections are currently underway and will be until May 22nd, 2020. 

In the hopes of electing candidates who are committed to open access, on April 21st we sent the following three questions to all the candidates on the ballot:

1) What are your positions on open access?


2) What have you done to increase open access in your career?

3) At a recent meeting, ACM officers discussed our request to open the ACM digital library within five years, though no decision will be made until the June meeting of the ACM Council. Will you commit to voting to open the library within that timescale?


We've collected the responses here and will continue to update the document as more candidates respond.
