To everyone...
Thank you. Thank you for the overwhelming support that supplied us with over 200 signatures. I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the turn-out. Honestly, I didn't expect this... this is amazing.
I just wanted to help some students and teachers out. This whole ordeal just seemed unjust, and I felt I needed to do something about it. But all of you have made this petition pick up speed.
I have another update on the current situation. I have been told that Associate Dean Betters has been presented with this petition, although I do not yet know what his response is yet. Also, there apparently was a regional CCAC board meeting of somekind, and the petition was read there. Not only that, some of the comments people made on this petition were also read. So a super-duper thanks to those who gave their thoughts and opinion in the comments of this petition!
It seems the officials at this meeting were unaware of the Learning Commons' current state of closure. Thus, there is a good chance that a change may be in the works. Let's keep hoping and showing our support for the Learning Commons and the wonderful tutors who have served a multitude of CCAC students over the years!
Yours truly,
Craig A. Wolfley, Jr.
