For a class assignment we were given the task of choosing something that we disagree with and to try and put an end to that specific problem, I chose to do factory farming. Factory farming is a large industrial operation that raises large numbers of animals for food. Over 99% of farm animals in the U.S. are raised in factory farms, which focus on profit and efficiency at the expense of animal welfare. Factory farms are known for the abuse of the animals, over feeding, and giving dangerous amounts of pesticides and hormones to the animals, which is then transferred to the person consuming the meat of that animal. Factory farming is inhumane, dangerous, and unhealthy. Say yes to natural farms! Say no to factory farms!
