Dear Tour de France Petition supporters,
Seven years ago, you signed our (victorious!) 2013 change.org petition to officially include women at the Tour de France. Because of you, La Course by Tour de France was born in 2014. One day of great progress that will lead to many more. But actually making that day happen... what a journey. Do you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of activism? What it took for us to stand up to ASO and fight for equal opportunity? What really happens when we stand on the front lines of change?  Well, I wrote a book about this very journey of activism: What it took to create (and stand on the start line of) La Course by Tour de France, why it matters that we stand for what we believe, and how we're all capable of creating change. Part memoir, part manual. With ample servings of human vulnerability.

The book's coming out in February 2021, worldwide. Today, I hope you’ll join my mailing list to receive an email when the book is released. After all, every single one of you who signed our petition is part of the story.  It is because of you this book exists.

1). Between now and February, I’ll send brief monthly emails and take you on an exclusive behind-the-scenes journey of the book: How it came to be. Why it almost didn’t. Where to find it in February. Excerpts, photos. Title announcement and cover reveal coming soon!

2). No spam. Just stories. Promise.

3). Corporate publishers told me “a book about women who stand up and fight for change just won’t sell. There’s no room on the shelf.” So I went ahead and built a new shelf. Unlike my three previous books, we’re self-publishing this one. I hope you’ll join me in proving those silly ol’ corporate dinosaurs wrong. You already proved traditionalism wrong when we published the TdF petition in 2013, so let’s prove it again in book form, shall we? ;)
