The petition now has 2,112 online signatories. 

The benefit match petition reached 1,877 signatures online, before a further, 5,123 signatures were obtained on clipboards, at matches in summer and autumn 2016.

This is a renewed call, to please sign and share the petition, with family, friends, work colleagues etc, via email and / or social media.

To reach 2,500 signatures, would send a powerful message to the QPR FC Board Meeting in early November, to decide upon Ellerslie for Stan.

Renaming the Ellerslie Road Stand, in honour of the one and only, Stan Bowles.

It has also been the signature target set, by the Guardian newspaper, to publish a national article on the entire campaign.

The 10th minute tribute applauses continued in emphatic style, on Tuesday night at the KPF, in the 1-0 victory over Blackburn.

2,500 signatures could be the game changer here, too.

There can be no doubt, of the overwhelming support there is, just in the Ellerslie - the paying punters, and elsewhere, for this honour for Stan.

The applause continues next Tuesday night, in the Carabao Cup v Sunderland, at the KPF.
