Hi again,

To understand why I’m trying to make this show happen let me try and explain life through my daughter’s eyes. 

Imagine you’re 6 and your body doesn’t do what you want it to do. You try to bend your arms and they go straight instead. Now imagine trying to scratch an itch but your arms won’t move to the spot. Imagine now you’re nonverbal so you can’t tell your mama that you are itchy and that itch just keeps getting worse and worse. Now imagine you have a vision impairment that means you only see in 2D, everything is cluttered and when you finally pinpoint a object you can only hold a gaze for 3 seconds before losing it so trying to use a eyegaze to communicate with your eyes isn’t easy and that itch just won’t go away. This is just one small battle my daughter has to go through and it’s just to tell me she’s has an itch. There’s every day tasks that you and I can do without a second thought but she struggles to do or just simply can’t. 

Now, you LOVE music. Your hearing is the one thing that isn’t affected by your cerebral palsy. When your own body is working against you music has been your constant comfort, your happy place. Your favourite artist is touring but imagine going to a packed out stadium with 80,000 people all screaming and remember you can only see in 2D everyone is blending in and you can’t pinpoint who is who and it’s so loud it feels like everyone is coming at you and you’re being caved in… this is why I couldn’t take her to see her favourite singer P!NK. This is why I’m trying to make these shows possible for her. For kiddos and adults like her. So they have a safe sensory friendly environment that’s not too loud and overwhelming where they can enjoy live acoustic music. People see my daughter but they don’t really see her and what she constantly goes through. So please if you can sign and share  together we can reach P!NK and her team and make this happen
