Roya Zakeri, known as the “Daughter of Tabriz”, who had been arrested during 2022 uprising for her courageous standing against the funder and leader of the regime in Iran, by order of intelligence authorities, has been transferred from prison to Tabriz’s psychiatric hospital.  Since middle of March, her family have not been permitted to visit her and have no information about her condition.  This lack of information has increased the concern about her well-being.

According to a witness, authorities transfer dissidents to  Tabriz’s psychiatric hospital and have them injected by unknown medications as a new way of repression against dissidents. 

Roya Zakeri is 31 years old, from city of Marand, in Azerbijan  province and has a masters degree in computer sciences.
