Keep Going & Next Steps!

Great communities don't just happen; they are created by the people who live in them and care for them. Together we can continue to build and support a great community that works well for all its members.
Thank you for signing to support the calls for action laid out in the open letter! Because of your care and dedication, over 250 signatures have been collected in a short time. This feels like an important signal that people are engaging with the work for racial equity in a big way. Would you consider sending the petition link to other members in your household and to a few of your friends? With the minimal effort of a few clicks and shares, we could probably bring that number closer to 500. https://www.change.org/p/ask-webster-groves-municipal-leaders-to-align-policies-practices-w-regional-equity-efforts?recruiter=922441269&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=share_petition&fbclid=IwAR3Ud9yP0y9gw_v7YzNTc6zchIb8eaPVOxp5IPzxEwHpVRIWdBqOV8465O4
The next Webster Groves city council meeting is at 7:30 this coming Tuesday, December 18. We will present the letter and signatures to the council. Please consider attending to visibly show support for the work that needs to be done and to send a powerful reminder that there are many of us out here who "Will Not Be Neutral on a Moving Train!" To make it easy to indicate your interest, we've created a Facebook event which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1429834410481149/
If you are interested in making a public comment [rules mandate that comments are 3 minutes or less] at the beginning of the meeting, please email wg4change@gmail.com so we are able to gauge the number who plan to do so.
Thank you for showing commitment, care, and dedication to all members of our community. You are important, and you are doing important work.
