Petition delivered to Secretary Rebecca Tepper

We are happy to announce that on August 21st, we physically delivered the petition and supporting information to Secretary Tepper.  The supporting information included a detailed letter explaining our motivation and request, a summary of the bald eagle test results, a list of all the Massachusetts residents that signed the petition, and the comments that were left on the petition.  At the time that we wrote the letter, there were 1840 signers, with 1097 of them from Massachusetts.  These 1097 residents spanned 240 cities and towns. Clearly the public response to the petition was "rapid, broad, and significant." Of course, we also supplied a link to the petition so that she can see the full list of people that signed and the comments that they left.  We will be following this up with an email so as to deliver an electronic copy. We look forward to hearing from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
