Over the years, I’ve received thousands of deeply moving comments and emails in response to my petition—especially from bereaved parents and people with lived experience of teenage relationship abuse or domestic abuse. Your words have stayed with me. They continue to shape and guide the work we do.

We are now at a crucial stage in the House of Lords, where there is the possibility to gain real support for this campaign. It’s more important than ever that we show the strength of public backing—particularly from those whose lives have been impacted most.

If you’ve lost a child to domestic abuse or experienced domestic abuse as a teenager and would like to get involved—whether by feeding into the campaign, sharing your story, or speaking to the media (with support)—please don’t hesitate to reach out.

This campaign is pushing for sex and relationship education to be made available up to age 18 rather than the current cap of 16 - so that no young person leaves school unequipped to recognise abuse or understand healthy relationships and much more. Your voice could help make this a reality.

You can contact me at makeitmandatorycampaign@gmail.com.

We’d be honoured to connect with you and explore the different ways you could support this campaign.

With warmth and solidarity,
Faustine
