Yesterday the Prime Minister announced he wants Maths education to continue in post-16 education.

What the Prime Minister has ignored is the estimated 2.4 million adults aged 16+ who experienced domestic abuse in the year ending March 2022 ( ONS, 2022).

The government still have not expanded relationship and sex education(RSE) to those aged 16-19, so this currently is only enforced in the Years 7 -11.

The Prime Minister MUST make learning about domestic abuse and healthy relationships mandatory past KS4 and thus make it mandatory for all sixth-form and college students to learn about these topics so they can spot red flags and form healthy relationships.

Domestic abuse costs the government an estimated 66 BILLION A YEAR.
