Greetings, Over the past year, I've learned a lot about the importance of creating healthy checkout aisles to promote community health and to support families and health-conscious consumers. So it was with much excitement that today I emailed Frank Guglielmi, the Senior Director of Communications at Meijer, a video presentation on the reasons and ideas for creating a healthy checkout aisle PILOT at Meijer. Mr. Guglielmi has promised to share it with Meijer's merchandising team and I will follow up with him in the new year. The other good news is that the presentation has been endorsed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the Capital Area Health Alliance, and the Ingham County Health Department.
