Read Between the Lines

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for those fighting the war against Big Oil. We have made great advances, and also have felt the fire on our necks from the federal government. With the election of President Donald J. Trump, it seems that all of our hard work has been flushed away within days. But before jumping straight into conclusions, I wanted to send this update to remind all 27,000 of you who signed this important petition to our leaders that we must learn to read between the lines. The media does NOT emit the correct information all of the time. They are there to gain an audience, not to deliver factual and correct details. I urge you all to read the exact Executive Order and Presidential Memorandum on the White House website. Read the first person source, not the second or the third before coming to a conclusion. We cannot win a fight with incorrect information. We cannot win a fight by flying off the handle at every news story. We must read between the lines, research, and talk to others to gain insight. Keep fighting, water warriors. Keep reaching out to our politicians. Keep pressuring Governor Hutchinson. Keep pushing the American people to see the truth about the Black Snake. And to President Trump: WE ARE STILL HERE. We will not stop fighting for our right to ensure that the American people have access to clean land and water. We will push for open communication between the Federal and State government and the peoples when our way of life is in jeopardy. We will fight for clean water ALWAYS. Energy Independence is highly important to the American people, but so is CLEAN energy! We can no longer ignore the need for clean energy, and its creation will also create economic growth and jobs. WATER IS LIFE!
