Gig ticketing app Dice FM & now Boiler Room are among the firms in which the government holds shares

Boiler Room has been bought by gig ticketing app Dice FM, indicating the oligarchial, capitalistic approach, that is much present in the sector.

The same Dice FM in which the UK government now holds stakes in.

And yet, millions of independent workers, organisations and individuals working in the sector haven’t received adequate support during the #COVID19 #pandemic.

This is why we continue to ask Arts Council England to redirect Cultural Recovery Funds, and most of the future funding streams, towards helping independent organisations & artists.
