It's only been 1 week since our petition was launched and so far, we're doing GREAT!  We're at 8,090 signatures so far !!!  We also want to thank the 276 people who made contributions to help us promote our petition, and we also want to thank each of you who SHARED our petition !!!

There have been some developments in Washington on the AI front.  Congress will be holding hearings on the subject of Artificial Intelligence next week.  We will send you more specific information regarding those hearings in a future update, very soon.

This is also another reason for people to sign our petition.  We can send out updates very quickly to a large number of people on what's happening with the issue, when it's happening.  And we don't want to spam you, we just plan to send out relevant updates on advancements of the issue - not endless fundraising garbage.

In the meantime, we absolutely need to be pushing for those in the White House and DC to speak to the HUMAN artists and creators whose intellectual property (IP) are propping up this entire new industry - they MUST be included on the decisions that are being made.  It can't just be these AI companies who get to weigh in on policy that affects their businesses.  The people being harmed right now by these technologies also deserve to be heard.
