This is Brian Steven Smith's "friend" who was not named on the show "Lost Women of Alaska" : Ian Calhoun.

Brian was texting Ian Calhoun while he was torturing and murdering Kathleen Jo Henry and into the next day. They met the next day at a park close to Ian Calhoun's house and Brian showed Ian Calhoun her dead body in the back of his truck. Brian even made Ian Calhoun aware of where he dumped her body on the side of the Seward highway and Ian Calhoun sent Brian a text when her body was found saying he wished snow would have hurried and covered it. One of the last texts between the two (before Brian was arrested) is Ian Calhoun asking Brian, "So can I now say that I am trained?"

Ian Calhoun was supposed to testify against Brian Steven Smith at this trial and was agreeable to it until the day of trial when his lawyer told him to plead the 5th so he wouldn't "incriminate himself".

Ian Calhoun has had no consequences and continues to walk freely in Anchorage, Alaska after knowing about the violent crimes being committed by his friend Brian Steven Smith.

I have filed a records request for information about Ian Calhoun with the Anchorage Police Department and it was denied citing "witness confidentiality".
