A new documentary will be coming out on ID and HBO MAX on February 25, 2026 about the women that were murdered by Brian Steven Smith in Alaska. Although the documentary will not name Ian Calhoun in it I want you to know he will be briefly mentioned. 

This documentary will tell the stories of three Alaska Native women who were murdered in Alaska by a serial killer. Veronica Abouchuk, Kathleen Jo Henry and Cassandra Lee Boskofsky (who is still missing). It will also tell the story of a woman who tried to report his crimes to APD and they ignored her. Her name is Alicia Youngblood.

While this story may be sensationalized for true crime tv it’s very important that this story is told to a larger audience. We need to find Cassandra’s body. Her family is desperate to find her and people need to know how negligent APD was while “investigating” this case.
