Hello everyone,

Things are really picking up now with MP Helena Dollimore (Lab), Margi O'Callaghan upcoming Lab candidate for county councillor and councillor for Braybrooke and Andy Batsford (Independent, St Helens) all batting for us.

They are arranging a public meeting to include the school head, the school's stakeholders , ESCC , Southern Water and Stagecoach so all issues can be raised.

Please join the Facebook Group if you can on this matter, many of us are already there https://www.facebook.com/groups/parkviewcrisis (Join even if it means just joining FB temporarily) it will be worth it to share concerns and your stories.

You should also be there because there are still no real answers about rumoured sewer leaks beneath park view. ESCC saying there are. Southern Water say no. So, for your property's sake a reason to keep up to date

Flyers with this petition have started to be delivered today, this will continue all week. You don't have to be a resident of the school area to join the FB group. We have many who are just cheesed off parents sick of the petrol guzzling back street school run.

Thankyou to the lovely people I met in Park View today whilst delivering flyers. It was reassuring that everybody I met is sick and tired of the road chaos, the damage, the speeding, the reckless driving, the impatience, house shaking and inconsiderate parking. It didn't matter who I met you are all tired of it. I know it's actually scary for many of you.

The thing is , before 2017 it just wasn't like this and it can all be fixed. So please encourage others to sign, join the Facebook group if you possibly can and make notes as to what you would like to ask at a public meeting.

By the way the picture above is the school's Park Avenue entrance, or what remains of it (taken this week). It has already been patched umpteen times. On Monday I watched vehicle after vehicle slam across those potholes. I hope the school is compensating drivers as they class this an acceptable entrance for any size vehicle? I guess not.  Buses and HGVs have no place on either concrete laid Park Avenue as it shakes houses, the turning circle is ridiculously small in the school and even that pathetically designed entrance can't handle the traffic. These large vehicles must be banished back to Parkstone Road entrance where they were previously.
