As television was hailed as the most remarkable invention of the 20th century it has created a learned excuse in hide and seek so to speak. As television popularity grew by leaps and bounds in the 20th century due to seeing the world in a new light..Humans have slowly forgotten about the importance levels associated with telling stories that matter. Oh yeah they are still told but not as intricate or intimate as one would imagine..I mean take for example these 2 scenarios in story telling and see if you can spot anything wrong with them.

  1. You see some person walk into a store let's say a convenient store. You see the customer chatting away about their family greatest moments. It looks good the story seems legit there are some chuckles and laughs. Yet what is missing can figure it out?
  2. On television there is this talk show and this is probably so revered today that we all.know that seeing someone on TV is super. They even might have pictures of there family story or so it seems. They explain that their story is so unique you'll be dancing around like a fairy out of a fairy tale book. See anything wrong with this type of story telling?

Well most people aren't even interested in a story from a compete stranger. Reason so it just is deceptive to think that most do care. Out of the ones who do care you can say around 25%. Even surveys couldn't tell.you.enough on the reasons why stories have no substance or the art of the story has been lost to how television over sensationalizes many things times over. I mean there sre many times you have seen someone talk about a intricate story. That just took you away gave you a family like feeling but that is often substituted for shallowness. Even more there are even cultures who believe that some cultures stories don't even matter. This is because you have cultures that think there lifestyle is all that matters. Yet even in a  university like GCU look what they show on TV about their so called  "great campus life" story. It should anger people who went to Grand Canyon University, to see this hyper illusion thrown in people's faces. When students who went were railroaded, mislead, forfeited and educationally impaled by a false sense of university education system at large.
