It's seems almost paramount that school reviews are often ignored in the hopes of lighting their boat afloat in the "ocean of universities" out there. Coming across some of these reviews can be an alarm beacon. I mean going along doesn't always guarantee a student a nice clean ride to graduation. Worse school I have ever attended. Disorganized with a militant attitude towards students. Overpriced and a teach yourself program that is very understaffed.

This is the worst program out there. Overpriced and the staff at the school is useless. I went for my Masters of Education degree and was promised many things. First, I was promised that I would qualify for the TEACH grant since I work in Title 1. I did not because my counselor never filed the paperwork. This cost me thousands of dollars. Secondly, I was forced to go through a crazy, terrible student teaching ordeal for my state certification (UT) and found out at the end of the whole thing that I did not even have to do it. My student teaching coordinator had not bothered to check the requirements of the program and told me the incorrect information. I had to investigate with the state and find that I was not required to do what the school was forcing me to do for my certification. Even though I did well in the program, I give it a 1 star because the only redeeming quality is that my professors were personable online. For single, working teachers like myself, I know this program is tempting but don't waste your money or time here.

This university sent my account to collections after I already paid them payments for a year in full until my account was ritually fulfilled. Once I was paid up �, I had called to confirm my bill was settled which they confirmed. Now they sent a new, unverified bill to collections for an extra 750$ to try to muddy the water and get more money out of me with no accounting for how they came up with this amount. Beware of the so called "religious" among us. I hear Capella is good, which is where I will be taking my business. I'm sorry I ever took one single credit with GCU.

I've spent many late nights with my wife trying to help her understand assignments and questions that are poorly written. She gets no help from "teachers," and they have no materials to substantially help students (many linked documents are inaccessible). I went to a real college and I can't believe an institution can get federal funding with how poorly these classes are put together and managed. No teaching is happening here.
