The Heritage zone is defined in the late National Development Strategy of 2003 and start from Blue Bay to Baie du Cap - our fight for Pomponette is part of protection for the South Coast Heritage Zone. 

Our rights as Mauritians is to enjoy our beaches without restriction. The current situation at Pomponette is getting worst. Armed Foreigners are threatening and harassing locals and have illegally restricted access to the public.
