Hello everyone. I am sad to report that it looks like the Decurion Corporation have cancelled plans to reopen the Cinerama Dome. I recently saw the interior and it is completely untouched and abandoned from March 2020. I asked the property manager on site if it will ever reopen and he said they have no plans to reopen. I also spoke with the general contractor that was hired to do the 20 million dollar renovation and they said it was cancelled abruptly. I have building permits that Decurion applied for and they missed the March 2025 deadline. Let's not forget that Decurion also owns the Hollywood Pacific Theater and that has been sitting abandoned for 10 years now. I was told by multiple sources that Decurion will not sell the Dome to another company and have turned down multiple offers.
