Hi everyone. If you have read my previous updates, you will know that Arclight is holding onto the Hollywood location including the Cinerama Dome since they own the property. The current rumor is that Decurion/ Christopher Forman  (the owner of Arclight Cinemas) is planning on reopening the Hollywood location possibly in December and it will still remain as an Arclight! What's taking so long? The word on the street is that they are waiting to settle their losses and leases at their non Hollywood locations. Arclight Sherman Oaks is now Regal, and Pacific Theaters at The Grove and Americana are now AMC. The plan is to have the Hollywood location including the Dome back open in December! Please, remember this is just a rumor, and everything could change (I've heard from insiders that Decurion is a pretty mismanaged company) but the Cinerama Dome/ Arclight Hollywood is NOT for sale! This is the most profitable theater in America. Even Quentin Tarantino confirmed this rumor.
