The push to get a Trilogy machine for Steff is continuing. Steff's medical team is continuing to try to push United HealthCare to provide a machine, including having her pulmonologist (one of the top in the nation) do a peer-to-peer review with United HealthCare's physicial and sending years-old medical records from when Steff was first given a Trilogy machine. The hope is that this helps them understand how much having this machine changed the trajectory of Steff's management of her disease.
Steff was also recently hospitalized for RSV (something most of us over the age of 2 would experience as a mild cold) and she continues to heal. She could have really used that machine over the course of this illness. Our goal is for her to not have to suffer through an illness like this again without a Trilogy machine to help support her.
