San Mateo City Council meets tonight for the scheduled Special Meeting to appoint a fifth councilmember to the vacant seat. But the first order of business for this newly reorganized council has not been completed. That decision has been blocked and continued until after the 6 pm Special Meeting. Tell Nash and Newsom they are out of order. Come rally in peaceful protest, then enter chambers to make a public comment. Let the council hear the overwhelming call to appoint a mayor now! The petition is about to hit an incredible 1000 signatures!
