A quick note to all of you supporters of this petition: this was addressed solely to Google and Apple, and not Valve. The removal of Geometry Dash from Steam was done via mass user flagging, and RealFaction (a fellow user on Newgrounds) was the catalyst behind it. Following the game's removal on Steam, shockwaves were sent in all directions, most notably to RobTop himself, the creator of Geometry Dash. The update which was meant to come for THREE YEARS has been reached... IN TWO DAYS. What is this update, you ask? Well, after 2 February 2017, any users scouted for the Audio Portal will no longer have their songs enabled for Geometry Dash unless they are whitelisted by RobTop himself. This, of course, has been put in place in the event that a popular or particularly talented musician arises and has enough demand for their music to be featured in the game. As for existing users who signed up and were scouted before 2 February 2017, there is a check box allowing for use in external APIs, e.g. Geometry Dash, which can be ticked or removed at will. As such, I consider this petition CLOSED. Thank you for all your support.
