Today at WWDC, Apple announced an all-new, 6K Pro XDR Display. It's both insanely great, and insanely expensive. It starts at $5000... or, $6000 with the stand.
It's great news that Apple is making monitors again, finally! However, the Pro XDR is priced only for the super high end market. We also need a more mass market displays that costs $1500 or so. Apple currently sells 27" Retina iMacs that start at $1700. Surely Apple could make an external display for around that price.

P.S. - Up until now all updates have directly related to the Apple Keyboard issue. However, I thought most of you who care about Macs having keyboards that work would also care about affordable Mac monitors.
