Every day, thousands of men and women who subscribe to Change.org are bombarded with important, heartbreaking stories of injustice. While these petitions are a wonderful way to bring about meaningful change in the world, it's time for a break from the outrage and sorrow. It's time for a little lighthearted fun.

As someone who works with exotic animals, I have always been bothered by the lack of a kangaroo emoji on the Apple iPhone. Imagine my outrage when the new update included a unicorn and still no kangaroo! Wake up, people. Apple is depriving you of the ability to properly text your friends about a delightful pouched mammal that is born the size of a jellybean.

I am asking Apple to end the madness and create a kangaroo emoji - or, as I like to call it, a kangarooji.

99% of you won't sign this petition, but if you're part of the 1% that has a heart (for overpopulating marsupials, that is), please, sign and share. Together, we can end the epidemic of bland texts about kangaroos.
