There seems to be an emoji for nearly everything now, I think they recently added a paella emoji.  But they continue to overlook the flamingo.  Flamingos are reminders of sun and happiness.  And for my friend who inspired this petition, of Flamingo fridays.  Apple, please add a flamingo emoji!!!
