#UPDATE_ON_ARAVALLI 

In a significant development concerning the #Aravalli mountain range, the Supreme Court has temporarily stayed its previous order that introduced a new definition for the range. 

Led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, a vacation bench resolved to keep the committee's recommendations and court directives in abeyance until a new committee is constituted. 

The apex court has also sought responses from the federal government and four state governments, while ordering the formation of a new expert committee, with further proceedings set for January 21.
