¡LEY COMPASIÓN SE CONVIRTIÓ EN LEY! APROBADA EL 29/10/2026 EN LA LEGISLATURA DE LA CIUDAD DE BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
La #LeyCompasión, creada por la ONG SINTIENTES, incorporará de manera progresiva y transversal en el sistema educativo de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires contenidos y prácticas pedagógicas orientadas a promover la compasión por TODOS los animales.
• Se aplicará a todos los niveles y modalidades del sistema educativo obligatorio de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, de gestión estatal y de gestión privada.
• Promoverá la educación y concientización sobre el reconocimiento de los animales como seres sintientes, su protección, cuidado responsable y trato digno, la prevención del maltrato y abandono, el respeto por la naturaleza y el ambiente, y el acceso a los servicios públicos de salud animal.

COMPASSION FOR ALL ANIMALS IS COMING TO SCHOOLS!
Created by SINTIENTES NGO and championed alongside legislator Emmanuel Ferrario, this groundbreaking education law was passed on October 29, 2026, by the Buenos Aires City Legislature.
The Ley Compasión will progressively integrate education in compassion for ALL animals across all levels of compulsory education, in both public and private schools.
It will promote the recognition of animals as SENTIENT BEINGS, their protection and humane treatment, the prevention of animal abuse and abandonment, respect for nature, and access to animal healthcare services.
