Leia a resposta no Instagram.

We are still campaigning for the direct flight, but we have another matter that may be important to you: if you live in Ireland, work, pay taxes, study or have put down roots here, this discussion is about you. The Irish Government has introduced the Irish Nationality and Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2026, which proposes significant changes to the rules on citizenship and naturalisation. Ireland has always recognised the contribution of those who choose this country to live in. We contribute through our work, through the businesses we open, through culture, through our taxes and through our community. Asking that the current rules be maintained, or that the proposal be reviewed with attention to those already in the process, is not asking for privilege — it is asking for predictability and respect for those who trusted this country. That is why we started with the Irish Embassy in Brazil. Read the response on Instagram. What can you do now? Sign the petition and share it with other Brazilians. Every signature is one more argument in the hands of those who will vote on the law in the Dáil. TDs and the Taoiseach need to see that this is not an abstract issue: it is thousands of people with a name, an address and a history in this country. Stop the Irish Nationality and Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2026 - https://my.uplift.ie/petitions/stop-the-irish-nationality-and-citizenship-amendment-bill-2026 Share it in WhatsApp groups, on social media, with work colleagues, with those who arrived yesterday and with those who have been here for eight years. If you already have citizenship, your voice counts too — you know the path others are trying to follow. Casa Brasil Irlanda continues to follow the issue and keeps an open dialogue with the Irish institutions. But, at this moment, the pressure that works comes from the bottom up: from the streets, from the groups, from the signatures. Your signature is not a detail. It is the proof that the Brazilian community exists, contributes and deserves to be heard.
