On June 3, 2020 I awoke at 5am with something pressing on my mind, so I wrote it down:

"Regarding the current state of affairs we need a new party that will...

...rebuild our
democracy and overhaul the criminal justice system including prisons (set the estimated 100,000 prisoners free who are innocent and behind bars)

.....rebuild:
Manufacturing capacity
infrastructure
stem education
research & development

...protect:
human life, human rights, and minorities
Civil liberties
Rule of law
Free trade

...protect against:
those that would do us harm, those who would harm or threaten other people with less power than themselves, those who would harm their own people

...care for those who need our care

...provide more hand ups less hand outs
...spread our interests globally
...debate ideas not degrade individuals

In the age of social media where millions of people can be connected affordably, by connecting 80 million people who agree to these tenets we could remove the majority of incumbents in the 2022 and 2024 elections and start moving forward.  Connected voters can easily be polled at intervals of their choosing (monthly, weekly, even daily) to express their collective opinions to their representatives.  Thus no more need for pollsters or focus groups, the voice of the people will be loud and clear and unfiltered directly with their representatives.  That ultimately means direct accountability and less corruption.
