We, the undersigned, cordially request your good self in your capacity to employ all the necessary means to stop the Islamic Republic of Iran’s executions of dissidents and brutal crackdown on protestors.

In the last few weeks, The Islamic Republic of Iran has increased pressure on the Iranian Kurds and their political parties. Examples of this recent crackdown include executions of young dissidents from the Kurdistan province of Iran on allegations of “Moharebeh,” i.e., “fight against Allah,” and missile attacks that have hit the headquarters of Kurdish political parties in Iraq. The history of the Islamic Republic suggests that such actions are usually followed by assassinations outside of Iran and the suppression of dissidents inside Iran.

In response to these brutal actions and in solidarity with opposition groups, the Iranian people - specifically in the Iranian western provinces and other neighboring regions - went on an all-inclusive strike on Sep 12, 2018.

Nonviolent actions such as this are an indication of the commitment of the Iranian people to nonviolent means and principles despite the Islamic Republic’s outright use of violence. The Iranian Kurds organized this action as a model for the rest of the fellow Iranians in all provinces.

The recent crackdown shows the Islamic Republic’s plan to provoke the heretofore-nonviolent civil resistance to violence for the purpose of justifying brutal suppression. Despite the Iranian people’s insistence on civil resistance, if there is not firm international condemnation of the Islamic Republic’s actions, violence may spread in Iran and beyond Iran’s borders.

We respectfully submit that actions of the kind demonstrated by the Islamic Republic be meticulously observed and prevented by all necessary means.

درخواست برای جلوگیری از موج جدید خشونت ورزی و سرکوب‌های حکومت ایران

 ما امضا کنندگان این نامه، خواستارجلب توجه حضرتعالی و به کارگیری تمامی راهکارهای در دسترس برای جلوگیری از اعدام مخالفان و سرکوب معترضان توسط جمهوری اسلامی ایران هستیم.

 جمهوری اسلامی ایران در هفته‌های اخیر فشار برفعالان مدنی، احزاب و جوانان کردی درایران را در اشکال و ابعاد مختلف افزایش داده است. نمونه‌ای از این فشارها، اعدام‌جوانان کُرد به اتهام محاربه(جنگ باخدا) و موشک‌باران مقر احزاب کُرد در خاک عراق است. کارنامه جمهوری اسلامی نشان می‌دهد چنین رفتاری معمولا با ترور‌های فعالین مخالف خارج از کشور و افزایش‌فشار بر مخالفین داخل کشور، اقلیت‌ها و زندانیان ادامه می‌یابد.

 در پاسخ به خشونت‌ورزی‌های حکومت، هموطنان کرد ما در کمال آرامش و متانت راهکار مبارزه بی‌خشونت را انتخاب کرده‌اند و در پاسخ به دعوت احزاب و فعالین مدنی کرد، اعتصاب یک روزه‌ای را در استان‌های کردنشین غرب ایران در روز چهارشنبه ۱۲ سپتامبر سازمان دادند. این اعتصاب که با استقبال حداکثری مردم مواجه شد، نشانه‌ای برای عزم جدی مردم ایران در همه استان‌‌ها بر پیگیری مقاومت مدنی علی‌رغم خشونت‌ورزی جمهوری‌اسلامی است. کُردهای ایرانی این اعتراض مدنی را به نحوی سازمان دادند که سرمشقی برای سایر هموطنان در استان‌های دیگر نیز باشد و این حرکت آنان از پشتیبانی مردم ایران در سایر نقاط کشور برخورداراست.

 ما امضا کنندگان این نامه با توجه به نقشه حکومت جمهوری اسلامی برای به خشونت کشاندن اعتراضات مردم ایران و هوشیاری مردم برای اجتناب از خشونت و پافشاری برکنش‌های مقاومت مدنی، از حضرتعالی و سازمان ملل تقاضا داریم ضمن اعمال فشار بر جمهوری اسلامی، تلاش‌های بین‌المللی را در راستای متوقف کردن نقض حقوق بشر در ایران و جلوگیری از گسترش خشونت توسط حکومت ایران در داخل ایران و کشورهای منطقه، بیش از پیش پیگیری کنید.
