We think any changes to WET and the rebate should be;

- Modelled for impact using Department of Treasury data

- In the long term interest of the whole industry

- Equitable in impact and contribution

- Definitive and sustainable for industry, consumers and government

We don't believe the current proposals fulfil the above criteria. Please delay any change until we have more than just Band-Aid solutions. The future of Australian wine depends on it.
