Following an incident in September 2016, it has come to my attention that Tarraray Pet Retreat are not keeping their pets secured properly within the facility. 

My dog was boarded at this retreat for no more than a day before he escaped from an exercise pen- apparently due to the gate being opened by an employee of the retreat. Unfortunately, Tarraray does not have a perimeter fence to prevent animals from escaping the property. 

It has now been 6 days since my dog went missing. He has not been seen in 3 days. The managers at Tarraray have not shown very much interest in trying to find the dog. I was told by Scott, the manager of the business, that "its just a dog" and "there's not much we can do". 

I understand that now the dog has escaped from the retreat, it will be extremely difficult to locate him due to the remote location. However, their careless conduct and attitude towards the incident has lead me to do something about the situation. 

I believe the retreat should invest in a perimeter fence or be shut down completely. People with attitudes like that towards animals should not be running a pet retreat.
