Stray dogs have become a very common sight in India with at least 5-10 stray dogs on every street. When left out on the streets, they are run over by vehicles, attacked by sadistic people who do it for their entertainment, stray dogs also attack people in residential areas, for e.g: children, elderly people or just people who are out for a stroll. They don't necessarily need to have a provocation. They can attack just due to herd mentality or due to developing aggression living on the streets without proper care. I live in a residential complex where almost every few days, we hear of stray dogs biting someone or the other. A request to everyone to sign this petition so that stray dogs can be properly rehabilitated and not left out on the streets.

Stray dogs should be properly rehabilitated in shelters so that they are looked after and not left on the streets. A fund can be started asking people to donate and help can be taken from NGOs.
