We wanted people to adopt pets instead of buying them because so many pets die in high kill animal shelters,  Sam K. and Yousep S. wanted to change this because there are so many animals mistreated in high kill shelters that it annoys us, we are not saying that the animals in stores should not be bought but since the animals in the shelters get killed, and the animals in the store get fed and treated properly we should adopt before buying from a animal store.
