Friend,
I need to start with an apology. What I’m about to share with you is painful but I can’t protect you from the truth. Because if we look away, we let them win.
Kira was a young monkey... intelligent, gentle, and capable of trust.
For months, she was imprisoned in a filthy cage. She was starved, beaten, and humiliated.
She was tortured by animal abusers who laughed while she screamed. Even worse then that, she was sexually abused.
And when her body couldn’t take the abuse any more, they poured fuel over her and set her alight while she was still alive.
It is believed that Kira’s murder happened around two years ago*. But today, across the world, monkeys like her are still enduring the same cruelty — filmed, traded, and tortured for entertainment.
And the worst part? Most of these offenders are still free.
At the Animal Welfare Investigations Project, our team is fighting back. We’re tracking the abusers. We’re gathering hard evidence. We’re working with law enforcement to shut these networks down and bring those responsible to justice.
But we can’t do this alone, Friend.
Your voice matters. Your name can help us show that the public demands justice — real arrests, real convictions, real change.
Friend, will you sign our urgent petition right now to demand that monkey torturers are arrested and prosecuted?
Friend, I know how heavy this feels. I know it’s heartbreaking to read.
But this is the reality that victims like Kira faced and still face every single day.
Every time we confront this cruelty, we give them back their voice.
Every time we act, we tell the abusers that they cannot hide. And every signature helps our investigators go further — to expose, disrupt, and end these vile acts for good.
When I look at Kira’s photo, I see a life that should have been filled with sunlight, trees, and freedom — not fire, pain, and terror.
I know that I cannot bring her back, Friend. But I can, with your support, make sure no other monkey suffers the same fate.
So please, Friend, take 30 seconds right now to stand with me. Add your name to demand justice for Kira and for every monkey still trapped in hell.
For all animals,
Jacob Lloyd
Chief Executive Officer
Animal Welfare Investigations Project
