In one of the most disturbing animal cruelty cases we’ve seen, a young Pitbull puppy was locked in a crate, starved for days, and then set on fire while still alive.

Security footage shows flames engulfing the crate. The puppy, too weak to move, suffered extensive burns. Despite emergency veterinary care, her injuries were too severe — and she had to be put to sleep.

The person responsible has been charged with animal cruelty, but that alone is not enough. We are demanding the maximum prison sentence allowed under the law, along with a lifetime ban on owning animals. Anything less would be a failure of justice.
