Friend,
I’m Greg Quimpo, Regional Investigator here in the Philippines, writing to you with a heavy but hopeful heart about a brave dog named Otis.
A few days ago, we responded to a distressing call: Otis, an abandoned dog, had fallen into a manhole after being hit by a vehicle. The driver didn’t stop. It’s a story that’s both heartbreaking and all too common. But Otis is a fighter.
When I rescued him, we rushed him to our veterinary partners, where we learned the extent of his injuries: his pelvis and pelvic bones are shattered. Otis will never be able to walk unaided again.
But there’s hope, Friend. With surgery and a custom set of wheels, Otis can live a happy, mobile life. Even better, a loving forever home is already waiting to take him in.
Here’s the challenge: Otis’s surgery and recovery will cost £3,500. It’s a big ask, I know, and with the start of the new year, many of us are feeling the pinch. But Otis doesn’t have time to wait. We urgently need to raise these funds to give him the life-saving care he needs.
Every moment counts, Friend. Otis’s life has already been filled with unimaginable pain, but with your support, we can ensure his future is bright and filled with love.
From the bottom of my heart – and on behalf of Otis – thank you for your kindness and generosity.
For Otis,
Greg Quimpo
