Leo, a beloved family dog from Omaha, Nebraska, endured a horrifying ordeal, trapped in a dumpster with his head and tail completely bound in duct tape. He was left unable to see, stand, or run away, discarded like trash and left to die a horrific death.

This innocent boy spent an entire night in a pitch-dark, filthy dumpster before he was found by horrified office employees who heard his feeble cries for help.

The terrifying reality is that Leo was found just minutes before the garbage collection truck was due to arrive. Had he not been discovered in time, he would have been crushed to death. No animal should ever endure such cruelty.

Leo was rescued and carefully treated by a local humane society, and thanks to his microchip, was reunited with his heartbroken guardian. But the person or people who inflicted this cruelty on Leo are still at large.
