A black cat named Milo fell victim to a heinous act of cruelty in Syracuse, New York.
Milo was subjected to unimaginable violence, being ruthlessly stomped on and beaten with fists and other objects until he could not be saved. The details of his suffering are truly horrifying, with Cornell University's autopsy revealing the extent of the brutality he endured.
His right eye was displaced, his eye socket fractured, and he suffered an open rib fracture, making it agonisingly difficult for him to breathe. Despite the best efforts of veterinary staff, the most humane decision was to euthanise him to end his suffering.
The perpetrator of this despicable act, a 24-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony offence. However, he has been released awaiting his day in court. We cannot let this injustice stand, Friend.
