After suffering severe abuse, Tarasika is left with a broken jaw, missing teeth, a fractured paw and rib, and a damaged collarbone. Despite these injuries, he has a strong chance of recovery with the proper veterinary care and rehabilitation. But there's a looming threat to his recovery.
