I introduce you to Luna, a dog from a small village in northern Poland. She was, in the cruellest twist of fate, left to the mercy of someone who should have been her protector: a dog breeder.
Luna's reality was far from the warmth of a loving home. She lived in her own waste, endured continuous exposure to mud without shelter, and faced physical beatings, her suffering clear in her plaintive cries.
The gravity of Luna's situation reached us through a concerned member of the public. With their help, we were able to rescue her, and she is now in a loving foster home, finally receiving the kindness and care she was so unjustly denied.
Yet, a daunting truth remains: the person responsible for Luna's torment remains unpunished, leaving one to wonder about the fate of other potential victims.
